The Real Housewives star spoke to the news outlet while attending Jill Zarin’s luxury luncheon in Southampton. She initially spoke about her failed relationship with Victoria, saying: “It was hard. We were in two different relationships, unbeknownst to me. So I was giving 100 percent. I was in love, and what I thought it was, it wasn’t. And that’s hard.” Braunwyn further explained that her coming out as a lesbian in December 2020 means she is still working through emotions most people experience in their teenage years. Despite dealing with the emotions of a recently broken relationship, Braunwyn hasn’t stopped putting herself out there. She revealed: “That being said, you know, I’m old enough to not sit in it. I know that you can be sad and still go out and have fun. So back in the city, I went on a couple of dates this week. Like, I’m not going to sit home and cry. I did that during the pandemic. I’m done now. Put your lashes on, clip in some hair, get back out there!” What About Braunwyn’ s Relationship With Her Husband
Although Braunwyn made history as the first openly gay Real Housewife two years ago, she remains happily married to her husband, Sean Burke. Sean and Braunwyn are parents to seven children and decided to stay married after she came out. Braunwyn divides her time between New York and Orange County. She said that splitting time between two cities is easy but confessed that she and Sean are still getting to terms with co-parenting. The reality TV star said: “The co-parenting, we’re working through it. I wish I could say it was easy, but that’s not true for any parent. I mean, we’ve definitely had some bumps in the road. We are trying our best to navigate some very difficult situations that are coming up.” Braunwyn also said she and Sean are doing their best as parents. The couple agreed to start seeing other people outside of their marriage. While Braunwyn made headlines for her relationship with Victoria, Sean also revealed he was seeing someone new. The news that Braunwyn is dating again after splitting from Victoria is good. RHOC alum Braunwyn Windham-Burke showed incredible strength to pull through such an emotional rollercoaster and try again.
