PlayStation Subscribers Upset After Missing Free PS5 Game

The console supports playing old-generation games, but sometimes, playing them with their full potential is a problem. The long-time PlayStation Plus subscribers are facing a new trial. If you’ve got What Remains of Edith Finch on PS5 with your subscription, you’ll miss an update for a free game you might want. The free new generation patches for the games you’ve got from PS Plus weren’t accessible in the past. Then they became free to upgrade, which was the good news we’ve been waiting for. But we can’t say the same thing for Annapurna Interactive’s recent new generation patch. PS5 Owners Cannot Get the New-Generation Update of PS Plus Gift the Free Game
With your PS Plus subscription, you can’t upgrade the game to its new generation patch if you’ve added your library, What Remains of Edith Finch. The patch was released yesterday, and it’s free for whoever purchased the game’s PS4 version. Unfortunately, Sony or the publisher doesn’t count the PS Plus subscribers as customers. It’s unclear who makes these decisions, but PS5 users will be unhappy. PS Plus Subscriber PS5 Owners Can’t Get “What Remains of Edith Finch” It wouldn’t be a problem if the game were trash. But What Remains of Edith Finch is an excellent title for many players; it even got big awards. It’s sad to be unable to play the game’s remastered version because the new generation patch brings a lot. The main story and gameplay are mostly identical, but the graphical improvements are something PS5 users would seek. If you’ve got the game’s PS4 version, you can play it on your PS5. But the notable improvements made for the new generation won’t be there. If you want to see what’s changed, buying the game’s latest version is the only solution for now.
