Splatoon 3 How to Play Table Turf Battle
Posted By: Mykel Brighton: September 04, 2022In: Features, Gaming, NintendoTags: Guide, splatoon 3No Comments Print Email The upcoming Splatoon 3 aims to introduce several new features. Players already learn about the fun new weapons entering the game. Besides that, Splatoon 3 also introduces a new mini-game Table Turf Battle. A simple concept, you must compete against your opponent to cover up most of the board in your ink. Before Splatoon 3 arrives, we will teach you everything you need to know about how to play (and win) the game. How to Play Table Turf Battle in Splatoon 3
Table Turf Battle may bring to mind Turf War in Splatoon 3. In Turf War, you play on a team as you work to cover up the map in your team’s ink color. However, in the Table Turf Battle mini-game, you are alone in your fight. It is a one-on-one battle to see who comes out on top to cover up the board in their ink. But you are not here to just splatter the ink around. Rather, the game board heavily resembles Tetris. In Table Turf Battle, you can build a deck of up to 15 cards. Each card has a specific ink Tetris-like shape as they are based on in-game specials and weapons. When you place it down, that shape takes root on the board. Additionally, Table Turf Battle in Splatoon 3 starts you off with four squares already generated. Although you and your opponent begin on opposite sides, you will have to face off at some point. A game with 12 turns played simultaneously, plan your cards out wisely. Many cards feature unique squares for special attacks. You gain a special attack point any time those squares are surrounded by ink no matter if it is yours or your opponent’s. Different cards in Splatoon 3’s Table Turf Battle have a different number of attack points needed. When you fulfill it, you can use a special move and quickly paint over your opponent’s ink. This is a vital move if you want to win the Table Turf Battle mini-game. How to Collect Table Turf Battle Cards in Splatoon 3
In the game, there are more than 150 Table Turf Battle cards. You only start out with four cards, but you will want to expand that fast for a better chance at winning. So, first things first: head to Hotlantis. This store, found around the edge of Splatsville, sells some Table Turf Battle cards from the catalog. You will need catalog points to purchase them. Next up, gather some Conch Shells and use a Shell-Out Machine. It is completely randomized, but the machine does give out packs of Table Turf Battle cards. Lastly, you can earn Table Turf Battle cards in Splatoon 3 by leveling up your rank in the mini-game. When you level up, you get five cards. Related
