The ICU nurse, who began her week on a high note, ended up feeling broken as she discovered some harsh truths rather than the proposals she anticipated. During Monday’s episode, the star explored her overnight date with Erich Schwer, clearly hitting it off with him on-screen. However, when it came time to see her two remaining suitors, Erich appeared to develop cold feet and voiced it out to the bachelorette. According to him, picturing someone, he loved bonding with other people crushed him. Gabby Windey later revealed that their conversations in the fantasy suite also centered around her prospective dates with suitors Johnny and Jason, which he considered cheating. Meanwhile, Gabby sent off Johnny after realizing he had no intentions of proposing. To her dismay, Jason, who she seemed to nurture feelings for, also chickened out of an engagement, making it clear he never loved her. The 46-year-old described himself as a realist, also explaining how that made him question so many things when it came to his feelings for the ICU nurse. The bachelorette expressed disappointment that he could not play along for even a second. Their decision to talk things over privately in the fantasy suite did not yield fruits, as Jason kept going in circles, making Gabby Windey realize he had been leading her on all along. A heartbroken Gabby voiced her frustrations in front of the cameras, saying, “It’s not even that he didn’t want an engagement. He didn’t want me. How do you just keep trusting? Johnny also doesn’t want me. Is it me? I don’t know what it is about me that’s so hard to love. What if Erich decides I’m not for him? Jason’s rejection left Gabby with Erich as her only suitor. The 29-year-old previously admitted that losing Gabby was his biggest fear. Hence, when the Bachelorette co-lead finally shared her experiences with the other men with him, he couldn’t be happier. Finally, the time came for the 31-year-old to decide whether or not to move forward in her relationship with Erich. The nurse revealed she loved him, fulfilling her desire to only say “I love you” on the show when she had just one suitor standing, after what happened with Clayton Echard on The Bachelor. Meanwhile, Rachel Recchia had a more positive experience during her Mexican date nights, enjoying a fun date with Aven and confessing her love to Tino before they parted ways for the night. However, the episode ended with Zach accusing her of being inauthentic. While the date nights did not exactly turn out as expected for the bachelorettes, both women seem to be headed on promising paths as their affections become clearer.
