The official trailer for My Policeman was released by Amazon Prime Video earlier this Wednesday. With Harry Styles acting credits from Dunkirk in 2017 and the upcoming controversial film Don’t Worry Darling, My Policeman is Harry’s third feature film as an actor. It will be exciting to see how Harry performs in Don’t Worry Darling, but if you can’t wait and need some more Styles content, this trailer will give you everything you need. The Policeman stars Harry Styles leading the film alongside Emma Corrin(The Crown) and David Dawson(The LastKingdom). The trailer depicts the movie to come as a forbidden love triangle with Harry Styles’ character as a closeted policeman. Here, you can watch the My Policeman trailer from Prime Video’s Youtube channel. The trailers describe Policeman as “A beautifully crafted story of forbidden love and changing social conventions.” My Policeman is a film adaptation of the 2012 romance novel written by Bethan Roberts. The story takes place in the 1950s in Brighton, East Sussex, England, and follows three young people, policeman Tom (Harry Styles), teacher Marion (Emma Corrin), and museum curator Patrick (David Dawson). My Policeman‘s story starts in the 1950s but also flashes forward to how the emotional journey all three embarked on the way back when is affecting them 40 years later. The 1990s flash forward shows us how our three main characters Tom (Linus Roache), Marion (Gina McKee), and Patrick (Rupert Everett), are “still reeling with longing and regret, but now they have one last chance to repair the damage of the past.” What do you think about the My Policeman trailer?
