Big Brother 24 Fans Blame Monte Taylor for Veto Disqualification

According to them, he had every chance to meet up with the rest but opted to be carefree about it, making him deserving of the repercussions. Wednesday’s episode of the show featured the week’s veto competition, which usually takes place during the day. However, the showrunners introduced a surprising twist, shifting the schedule to very early in the morning. It kicked off with a man with a German accent calling for the houseguests to wake up and prepare for the competitions in two minutes. While the other Big Brother 24 contestants rushed to comply, Monte Taylor, who is the current Head of House, took his time priming up. He got up slowly and went to the bathroom first, ignoring the warning that they had one minute left. Taylor Hale, who made a final three pact with Monte and Matthew Turner, tried calling for him to get to the backyard on time, to no avail. In the end, Monte Taylor reached the backyard minutes late, leading to his disqualification. Ultimately, the HOH lost his chance to defend his nominations and keep Alyssa Snider and Brittany Hoopes on the block. Having lost his chance, it became up to his close buddy, Matthew, to win the competition and keep their plans of eliminating Brittany intact. Brittany Hoopes Won The Veto Power Instead
The game involved piecing a puzzle of gears together in a cuckoo clock. The first to move the cuckoo clock wins. Throughout the competition, Brittany and Matthew went neck and neck, proving their expertise. However, the Austin native did it better and emerged as the winner of this week’s veto competition. Sure enough, she used the power of veto to save herself from the block, crushing the HOH’s plans to evict her. Monte Taylor was forced to nominate someone else in her stead after the Big Brother 24 veto competition. With Brittany exempted and Alyssa already up for eviction, his choice was between Turner and Taylor, his final-three pact buddies. Despite Brittany’s attempt to threaten him into nominating Turner, Monte put Taylor on the block instead, reassuring her he would ensure her safety. Since the events of the veto competition played out, fans have wondered how the HOH possibly got disqualified. However, many believe it to be a fair repercussion after Monte’s lackadaisical attitude despite several warnings. One fan noted, “What the heck I thought it was unclear he would be disqualified but he wasn’t even rushing until the last second.” Another called him out for not taking the game seriously despite knowing the implication of the veto power when it came down to the final five contestants. A third stated bluntly that they had “no sympathy” for Monte Taylor after watching the Big Brother 24 veto competition. Seeing as he orchestrated his disqualification, fans admit they do not feel bad for him, as it almost seemed like that was what he hoped for from the onset. But his reasons remain a mystery, as a desire to fulfill some mandatory “bathroom routine” just did not cut it for most.
