Portal 2 Is The Last Xbox 360 Game Offered Via Games With Gold

At that time, Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers were notified that this would take effect in October. Tomorrow marks the beginning of the end for the Xbox 360 in the program. Portal 2 is the last free Xbox 360 game being offered via Games With Gold. Portal 2 is just one of four titles made free by Games With Gold at some point this month. The other games are Gods Will Fall, Double Kick Heroes, and Thrillville. However, Portal 2 has the distinction of being the last Xbox 360 game to receive this treatment. The Games With Gold service will continue, just don’t expect any games from the 360 eras after this. Portal 2 for Xbox 360 will be free through Games With Gold starting tomorrow
Tomorrow would be a great time to get your hands on a copy of Portal 2 if you don’t already own it. The Portal games are classics, so many gamers are already familiar with them. However, in case you’ve never heard of it, or you need a refresher, here’s a summary from the official September Games With Gold announcement. “One of the all-time classics is available for you to teleport into problem-solving mode. Use your wits over weapons in this sci-fi puzzler. In addition to portals, use tractor beams, lasers, light bridges, and more. With humorous new characters voiced by the likes of Stephen Merchant and J.K. Simmons, the story and humor is as much a joy as the problem-solving. Play single-player or co-op to start bending the rules of physics.” You can pick up Portal 2 for Xbox 360 starting tomorrow.
