Dubu’s Primary Ability is Bamboozle, which sends out a stalk of bamboo that can prevent opponents from launching the Core into the goal. The hamster’s Special is Tofu Fortress, which functions similarly to Bamboozle but covers a much wider area and lasts longer on-field. With these core abilities in mind, Omega Strikers fans should select Trainings that bolster Dubu’s kit and build, enabling him to be the ultimate Goalie. Built Differently and Creator of Larger Things are two Trainings that Dubu users should never leave out from his character build in Omega Strikers. Built Differently increases Dubu by 35% and provides slightly more KO damage. Creator of Larger Things further enhances the size and damage of Bamboozle’s bamboo and Tofu Fortress’s wall of soup bowls. Related

For clarification, players should always use Bamboozle or Tofu Fortress as Dubu’s main forms of defense while blocking the opponent’s goal in Omega Strikers. Bamboozle can be frequently used if properly positioned each time, but Tofu Fortress should only be dispatched when the Core is coming towards Dubu. If the Core is too close when Dubu activates his Special, the soup blockade will become a hindrance to teammates and potentially score a point for the enemy. As for Dubu’s physical Strikes and body-blocking, players should only utilize his body size as a Plan-B resort if his abilities fail to stop the Core from reaching the goal. Due to his defensive kit, Dubu should generally not be used as a Forward. However, those looking to utilize Dubu’s build out on the field are encouraged by Pro Game Guides to equip the hamster with Crossover, a Training that offers temporary bonus Haste for Strikes. On the other hand, Dubu Goalies are recommended to use Rapid Fire, which enables players to spam Bamboozle more frequently to prevent opponents from scoring.
