Yahoo! Entertainment reports that the 34-year-old Barbadian singer verified the news via an Instagram post of her tattooed hand holding up an NFL-branded football. Jay-Z’s entertainment agency Roc Nation, which features Rihanna on its roster, shared the singer’s post with the caption, “Let’s GO.” Roc Nation tagged Apple Music in the post, as Apple Music will replace Pepsi as the Halftime Show sponsor. This announcement comes following days of speculation that Taylor Swift was the potential choice to headline the Halftime Show. However, it’s Rihanna who will be taking the stage in the middle of the Super Bowl. Rihanna’s choice to perform in the Super Bowl Halftime Show signals a change of heart for the singer.
