Google Turned Down Death Stranding Stadia Exclusive Game
Posted By: Tunahan Karakison: September 30, 2022In: Gaming, NewsTags: Death Stranding Sequel, Google StadiaNo Comments Print Email The announcement that Stadia would join the Google graveyard wasn’t a big shock. It was actually a pretty cool project, but the wrong decisions made by Google brought it to an end. By the way, the wrong decisions made for the platform started to emerge after the retirement decision. A new report claims that Google previously turned down Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding Stadia exclusive game. Why Google Turned Down Exclusive Death Stranding Game for Stadia
A new report from 9to5Google claims that Hideo Kojima was willing to make a Death Stranding sequel exclusively for Google Stadia, but the offer was rejected. So why did Google reject the project, despite knowing how important Kojima is to the gaming industry? The answer to this will anger some of you, but apparently the tech giant rejected Kojima because the Death Stranding sequel he wanted to make was single-player. Death Stranding debuted for PS4 in 2019 and later received a PS5 upgrade. Of course, PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) should not be forgotten. The game achieved significant sales success and received significant feedback from players. As reported, Hideo Kojima was in talks with Google at this time for a Death Stranding sequel that would be exclusive to Stadia. According to the report, the game was in the early stages of development, but after the first mock-ups were sent to the company in 2020, Google rejected this project. This was because Kojima wanted to make the Death Stranding sequel a much more single-player experience. After this decision, Kojima did not lose much blood, but the same cannot be said for Stadia. Google’s cloud gaming service Stadia is officially shutting down, announced Google. The service will continue to function as normal until January 18th, 2023. That is not all; Google has confirmed that it will be refunding all Stadia hardware that people had purchased from the Google Store, as well as all the games, including DLC. The refunds should be complete by mid-January next year. Tags: Death Stranding SequelGoogle Stadia Previous Trevor Noah And Dua Lipa Spark Dating Rumors After Night Out
