The cloud gaming service, Google Stadia, is shutting down for good. Some people find it shocking but some others don’t. Most players think that there isn’t a lot of future in Cloud Gaming, however, GeForce Now seems to be standing strong. However, that isn’t the case for Google Stadia. With Google Stadia shutting down, players are wondering how to get their money or games back. While there is some process to get a refund, Ubisoft has confirmed that their games will transfer to PC. This is good for people who bought Ubisoft games on the soon-to-end Google Stadia service. All Ubisoft Games in the Google Stadia Service will transfer via Ubisoft Connect to PC
It seems that even if Ubisoft takes a lot of steps back, they also manage to take some steps forward, just like its partnership with Netflix. Knowing that players will be able to keep their Ubisoft games with the news of Google Stadia shutting down, is great. The truth is that Ubisoft has made connecting games through different platforms easier. We even think that the upcoming Skull & Bones that got delayed – again, will have this feature. It is a bit sad to see a huge company shutting down a project like Google Stadia when some people were able to play their favorite games there.
