Getting a fox as a companion is easy. All you have to do is to approach and feed them. There are four types of foxes in Dreamlight Valley; Black fox, Blue fox, Classic Fox, Red Fox, and White fox. They arrive in Frosted Heights randomly meaning if you find a Red Fox, you might not see it the next day. When you see one, feed it the kind of food it wants. But be sure to act fast because foxes are very quick and they may require a little chase to get one. As you make your approach, an option to feed it will appear. That’s when you should feed it an item from your inventory. Fish is one of their favorite foods which you can get from gold fishing spots in Frosted Heights.
