Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden

Persona 3 was originally released on July 13, 2006, for the PlayStation 2 in Japan, with a North American release on August 14, 2007. The game has since gotten two remastered releases: Persona 3 FES and Persona 3 Portable, each enhancing the game in different ways. The biggest change in the Portable release is adding the choice between having the protagonist be male or female. Other enhancements in this release include control of every party member, the ability to guard, and new music. Persona 3 Portable has only been released for the PSP, making it harder to access than its successors. While it doesn’t appear that this new release will include the other additions from the FES release, many more players will be able to get their hands on this game soon. Persona 4 first came out on July 10, 2008, for the PlayStation 2 in Japan, while North America got a release on December 9 of the same year. It later got a remastered release for the PlayStation Vita called Persona 4 Golden. This version added many new features and story elements to the game. It even included a brand new character integrated into the story. This edition was later released on PC, adding additional features such as Japanese voiceovers. Since Persona 4 Golden was already released on PC via Steam, many players already had access to it. However, it will be much more accessible now to fans who prefer console gaming.
