The irony here is he wants him to get over the physical fight he caused between family on a Happily Ever After episode. The fight resulted in Charlie being cut off from the rest of the family. What’s more, throwing a punch and following it up with “bygones” is a tough sell for anyone. As many know, both Charlie and Andrei are no strangers to drama themselves. But Potthast feels being ostracized from his family is a tad bit severe. But there are solid reasons for that. Charlie and his sisters all have kids who grew up together. To cut him off from his family is to cut them off as well. Again, punishing him is one thing but shattering the family dynamic is another. Via Screenrant: After a fight at a family barbeque, Jen and Becky began to hold Charlie accountable for some tension in the family. They believe that he has an issue with alcohol, and until he seeks help, they will not be around his toxic behavior. However, Charlie, who mocked Andrei in the fight, does not believe he has a drinking problem and does not take sole responsibility for the fight. Feelings about the fight aside, Charlie wants to move on from the altercation to have peace in the family. Charlie disagrees with taking the brunt of the blame for the fight. Although 90 Day Fiancé star Andrei was also involved, he and Elizabeth did not get cut off from the family like Charlie and his wife, Megan. His real problem has been a lack of accountability. So to cause some of that and tell other people to get over it feels a tad bit dismissive. Lastly, at what point does he stop pointing the finger outward without realizing he has four other fingers pointed at himself? We hope they can work it out and put their differences aside.
