Pokémon Sword and Shield Pokémon Coming to GameStop

This was announced through the official Pokémon site and will be available in stores like GameStop to owners of Pokémon Sword and Shield that live in North America. Gamers that live in Australia and New Zealand will also be able to get these Pokémon, as codes will be distributed at JB Hi-Fi stores. Pokémon Distribution Dates
The Pokémon distribution will start with Genesect and Volcanion. They will be available in the United States and Canada from October 16-29, while they will be available in Australia and New Zealand from October 21-November 18. Genesect is a Bug/Steel type that has different forms depending on which Drive it is holding. Volcanion is a Fire/Water type and is the only Pokémon capable of learning Steam Eruption. Marshadow from Pokémon Sword and Shield will be distributed to stores like GameStop afterwards. It will be available in the United States and Canada from October 30-November 12 and available in Australia and New Zealand from October 21-November 18. Once you have claimed your codes from GameStop or Target, go through the following steps to claim your Pokémon in-game: Launch your Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield Select ‘Mystery Gift’ on the X menu. Select ‘Get a Mystery Gift.’ Select ‘Get with Code/Password’ to connect to the internet. Enter your codes one by one. Watch as the gifts arrive in your game.
