Horror Villains Coming To Rocket League For Haunted Hallows

Who is your favorite horror movie villain? Is it Jigsaw or Chucky? Maybe Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre? Well, if you’re a Rocket League player who loves these and other legendary horror antagonists, then you’re in for a treat. Today, Psyonix revealed that several spooky franchises will appear in this year’s Rocket League Haunted Hallows event. Rocket League Haunted Hallows will feature cars items and more inspired by infamous horror villains
Of course, this year’s Haunted Hallows will bring some new items to Rocket League. According to today’s announcement, the event will include new decals, player anthems, and more. Item themes will include the aforementioned Child’s Play, Saw, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, as well as Trick ‘r Treat and Halloween. During the event, players can also earn special Golden Pumpkins. “In the ghoulish spirit of giving, players can earn Golden Pumpkins to unlock Items from the Velocity, Triumph, and Auriga Item Series’. Golden Pumpkins work just like previous Golden rewards—complete the Challenge up to five times to earn Golden Pumpkins, then open them in your Inventory to unlock items.” Two new game modes are also coming to Rocket League, playable in the “Spooky” version of the Farmstead arena. From October 26- November 1, players can play Heatseeker. In Heatseeker, the slightest touch will send the ball flying toward your opponents. Alternatively, you might find yourself gearing up for a game of Spooky Cube. “Spooky Cube brings a bit of Halloween fun to Farmstead (Spooky) Arena with a dynamic pumpkin cube. With increased ball speed and random bounces, you’ll need to maximize your Halloween spirit if you want to smash this pumpkin! Spooky Cube will be playable from October 19 to 26.” Haunted Hallows content will be available in the game from October 19- November 1.
