Mascots are never going to be the key to winning in NHL 23. Mascots generally have much lower stats than human players. However, they’re still a lot of fun to play as. Mascots are only available in specific game modes, and you’ll have to progress through the game to unlock more of them. The Gnash from Nashville Predators is the only mascot available from the start. You’ll gradually unlock more mascots as you play through the game, including Blades from the Boston Bruins and S.J. Sharkie from the San Jose Sharks. The objective is to score the most goals. You play against games in A.I. mode, and Penalties and Faceoffs are not allowed since the game is played in a small Rink than an entire Hokey Rink.
