Selma Blair Exits DWTS Early Due To Health Struggles

On Monday, the Hollywood actress revealed that she was not going to continue with Dancing With The Stars. Selma Blair revealed that she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2018. Even after she was diagnosed with this sickness, Blair still pushed on. She continued on the show and put on wonderful performances. She didn’t allow her situation to stop her. Selma Blair told her partner, Sasha Farber, that she could not continue with DWTS as her health declined. She explained how she tried to push as far as she could, but it has become too much for her to take. The star actress continued by explaining that she has been monitoring her body since they started the season. As she continued to push and dance, her body was already getting affected. She was already having some “bone trauma and inflammation.” If she continued dancing, some irreparable damage would be done to her body. Selma Blair’s partner, Farber couldn’t help the sadness that emanated from him as he listened to Blair explain her struggle with multiple sclerosis. Blair decided to exit the show with a final performance with her partner, Farber. She put aside the dangers the dance could have to her body for just one last dance. The performance was mind-blowing. The fact that it was her last dance before exiting the show made it even more special. It left almost everybody in the room teary-eyed. Fans could not help but express how emotional the dance was. According to Yahoo, while talking after the dance, she explained that she knew that she had to exit the competition not only for herself but for her child as she is a mom. All the judges each gave Blair a perfect score of 10. Even though the score was irrelevant to her, Blair hoped she had inspired her son, who was there to watch her.
