The amazing trailers turned out to be pre-rendered. Its marketing campaign delivered nothing or too little when the game launched. The game was riddled with bugs and performance issues. Yet, with that, Cyberpunk 2077 players kept coming back to it, or rather, are starting to play due to one specific thing. Cyberpunk Edgerunners is the anime that put Cyberpunk 2077 on the map. While CD Projekt Red has done a lot of things to improve the game. It is, without a doubt, the popularity of the anime that revived the game even more than before. 1 Million is the number of Cyberpunk 2077 Players For 4 Consecutive Weeks
Cyberpunk 2077 has had its ups and downs. More of the latter though. However, the developers have taken smart decisions to make the game playable and enjoyable. They abandoned the PS4 and Xbox One versions to focus on the next-gen and PC ones. A great choice that many Cyberpunk 2077 players liked. They also announced a bunch of games that are in development. An upcoming DLC was announced with a famous streamer doing voice acting in it. Cyberpunk 2077 Edgerunners Update Marks The End of Last-Gen
The anime, which is one of the best ones this year, played a huge part in reviving the game. While a lot of people were playing it again after the next-gen patch, this anime grabbed a lot of new Cyberpunk 2077 players. Beyond that, the experience is a lot better now. Almost no crashes on consoles anymore, a somewhat solid framerate, and even some skills were reworked. Now that the developers have announced that the game has reached 1 million players for four weeks in a row, it is something amazing. Whether it is for Cyberpunk Edgerunners or the game in general, it is always great to hear about a game’s redemption story.
