As you progress through Disney Dreamlight Valley, you can find a lot of materials that will be useful to you in one way or another during the game. Some materials you can use to cook delicious meals, while others can help you craft decorations for your home or complete quests. There are a lot of gems among the materials, and in the recent global update, several new types of these materials appeared in the game. One of them is Sapphires, and our guide is here to tell you how to get this stuff. Where to Get Sapphires in Disney Dreamlight Valley
As we said, Sapphires are a new type of gem that appeared in the game relatively recently during the first global update of Scar’s Kingdom. In addition, the game has a new location Vitalys Mine and a new character Scar, and this information will be helpful if you want to get Sapphires. Like any other gem, you can get Sapphires in Disney Dreamlight Valley by destroying black Rock Spots with your pickaxe. But unlike other Gems, you won’t be able to find Sapphires in any superficial location, as you have to search much deeper. You must visit the Sunlit Plateau biome and descend to the new Vitalys Mine. If you still haven’t unlocked Sunlit Plateau, you can do so right now by spending 7,000 Dreamlight. Related
How to Get Rich Soil in Disney Dreamlight Valley
You see wooden pillars at the entrance to Vitalys Mine, so it’s not hard to spot. When starting to go down inside, you will notice several black Rock Spots almost immediately. Digging Rock Spots will give you some Coal, other Gems, and a chance to get Sapphires. But if you see a blue glow or crystal in Rock Spots, breaking it will give you Sapphires with a 100% probability. In addition, in this cave hid a new character Scar, and in one way or another, you will have to go into it to advance the story. You can complete Scar’s quests to befriend him and learn a little more about the world of Disney Dreamlight Valley.
