The game puts players in control of members of the bat family, such as Nightwing and Red Hood after Batman’s passing. Players patrol the city and take out threats alongside engaging in the main and side quests. The game also features a fun co op mode which gives everyone involved full control to do whatever they want (Yes, two players can be in completely different areas of the city at one time). Mods are a big part of the game. Mods in Gotham Knights are synonymous with customization and serve as perks/runes that help upgrade your gear. The simplest way to get mods is to just play through the game. Literally everything from main missions to side missions to basic patrolling and completing achievements along the way can reward you with mods in the game. Mods in Gotham Knights come in multiple tiers. In an ascending order, mods go from White, Green, Blue, Orange, and Yellow, with White mods being common and Yellow mods being legendary. Players looking to maximise the efficacy of mods in Gotham Knights should strive to get Yellow and Orange mods since they are the rarest and most powerful, though Blue mods are good too. The best way to get the rarest mods is to search for Batman’s secret caches scattered all around Gotham City. These chests often hold some of the rarest mods in the game. Since you get a mod based on your level, doing this maxed out/fully levelled up is even better. Finally, completing premeditated crimes with high difficulty is another great way of earning mods in the game.
