Balthazar Owner Slams James Corden for Backtracked Apology

Now, McNally responded with a new Instagram post (seen below) that calls him out to give a proper apology to the “servers he insulted.” Initially, James Corden was banned from the Manhattan restaurant Balthazar after how he treated its staff. He was later unbanned when he apologized. Now that he said to NYT that he hadn’t “done anything wrong” and called the situation “silly.” Deemed the “most abusive customer” in the 25-year history of the restaurant, McNally has his latest response to call out the comments in yesterday’s interview. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Keith McNally (@keithmcnallynyc) In response to James Corden stepping back from his initial apology, the Balthazar owner said that he has “no wish to kick a man when he’s down,” even if that man is “worth $100 million” but he had to get back into it due to the interview. McNally admits he “didn’t witness the incident” but trusts his staff on what happened when in one incident he threatened to write bad reviews over a hair he had found and yelled at the staff for a mistake by having a side of fries rather than a side salad after a previous mistake with the dish. To McNally, he feels that his staff did not lie but called that James Corden lied about what happened at the second incident, which occurred at Balthazar. He is willing to put it aside and more by giving the CBS Late Late Show host free meals for “the next 10 years” if he gives an apology to the two workers he “insulted.” Since this latest response, there was no response from the British actor.
