The fourth season of Warzone’s third yearly cycle began on June 22, bringing a host of changes to shake up the game’s weapon pool and its established meta. Among the changes, rather surprisingly, were buffs to NZ-41 weapon attachments. Many players were shocked as one of Season 3’s strongest weapons became even stronger. It seems Raven quickly realized their mistake too, with the June 30 patch brining a considerable nerf to the NZ-41 and the similarly strong H4 Blixen. Following that patch, players have been eager to find the next best weapon. According to Swagg, it’s a gun that’s been hiding in plain sight since the very start of the CoD BR. ActivisionThe NZ-41 has been nerfed heavily in Warzone. In his 1 July YouTube video, Swagg claimed that the Modern Warfare M4A1 is one of Warzone’s best weapons following the NZ-41 nerf. The AR, a classic of the CoD series, has been in Warzone since its launch but has fallen away as Black Ops Cold War and Vanguard guns joined the weapon pool. He pinpointed its bullet velocity as a particular strength, meaning bullets will hit a target incredibly quickly.
