The annual Esports Awards have become a fairly big date in the gaming community’s calendars, with both entertainers and esports pros up for some of the biggest awards the scene currently offers. This year’s awards ceremony will take place in Las Vegas and, from June 30, the finalists for each category are being announced. Arguably the biggest category at the Esports Awards, the Streamer of the Year finalists have now been released. Unfortunately for the former Overwatch pro, xQc did not feature. He also had some choice words about the nominees and poked fun at tyler1, who did receive a nomination. Esports AwardsThe annual Esports Awards have become a major date in the CoD scene. Going through the finalist list in a July 1 broadcast, xQc couldn’t believe that tyler1 was nominated and others, like Ludwig, missed out. “Finalists for Streamer of the Year are… oh motherf**ker man,” he said, realizing he did not feature. “Holy, I mean dude I was lazy this year it is what it is. I f**king fell off, it is what it is. I f**king fell off boys.” Read More: Alinity “confused” by xQc’s claim that Texas stream house was “hostile” While he didn’t seem too hurt that he wasn’t nominated, he did take issue with tyler1’s candidacy, launching into a brief impression of the LoL streamer. “I don’t give a f**k about not being streamer of the year,” he said, “I don’t give a f**k about not being on that list, but if you’re not gonna put me, don’t put f**king tyler1. Why the f**k is tyler1 on there? What the f**k? Bro… where’s Ludwig?” We shouldn’t read too much into xQc’s comments, with the streamer known to poke fun at – including tyler1 – frequently. Back in April, tyler1 roasted the former Overwatch pro for a hilarious League of Legends misplay. If that’s anything to go by, we can expect Tyler to reply in the near future. keep reading
