Sega hasn’t mentioned a concrete release date for Hyenas yet, but it is going to be released sometime in 2023. Make sure to check back regularly as we’ll update you with more information as soon as further details regarding a release date are revealed. What platforms will Hyenas be on
Hyenas will release on most mainstream devices including the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series XS, and Windows PC. On PC, the game will be available on both Steam and Epic Games Store. At the time of writing, there’s no news for a Google Stadia or Nintendo Switch release. There is an early alpha for Hyrenas that’s available for PC players to sign up for. You need to be at least 18 years old if you want to sign up for the program. The registration process is quite simple and can be done by following these simple set of steps: Head on to Hyenas’ official website and click on the sign-up button. A window will pop up and you’ll need to create a new Creative Assembly account. You may also sign-up with your existing Steam / Epic Games / Xbox / PSN accounts. Fill in all your details and verify your email. Then, complete and submit the alpha application form. Once you’re selected, you’ll receive a Non-Disclosure Agreement in your inbox. You need to sign it to receive the key. Once everything’s done, all you need to do is wait for an email from the devs for the closed alpha key. You must remember that the initial phase of the alpha will be limited to PC and players from NA and EU regions with a Steam Account only. So, if you belong to other regions and have a console, you’re out of luck for the first alpha. The developers will include additional platforms and regions in the future alpha programs. Since Hyenas is still in an early alpha stage, the system requirements are a bit on the higher side. As the days go by, the developers will try to tone down the hardware requirements with further optimization. The game’s story shows that the inhabitants of Earth have colonized Mars and are leaving the planet as it has become uninhabitable. Ships are sent back to Earth to collect the “pop culture” treasure and the Hyenas are now up to destroying these ships to rob their merchandise. SegaHyenas follow a post-apocalyptic theme with a twist. During this process, they have to fight against AI security and other players, as the game is PvEvP, in order to pull off a successful robbery. Hyenas’ gameplay oozes with graphic novel art-style design with a combination of guns and a post-apocalyptic timeline.
