Alolan Pokemon have come to Pokemon Go, starting with the 2022 Season of Alola event. Below are all the details surrounding the past event. Players were outraged back in August 2021 when the Ultra Unlock event skipped the Sun & Moon era and added the Gen 8 Pokedex into Pokemon Go. Trainers can complete four different Special Research lines that give insight into the different islands in the Alola region. The first one, Melemele Island, runs from March 1, 2022, to June 1, 2022. Finishing the research has no time limit, but just make sure you collect it within the timeframe otherwise you’ll be locked out.
