Although retired, his UFC career is enough to put him in the conversation for the greatest fighter of all time. St-Pierre recently explained why he wouldn’t fight superstars Khabib Nurmagomedov or Conor McGregor. In one segment, Bet-David asked St-Pierre if he would fight or for 100 million dollars. St-Pierre was quick to reply by saying, “No, for no – money.” ADVERTISEMENT Article continues below this ad Bet-David then proposed a hypothetical situation where, if St-Pierre trained for six months, would he be able to beat the current McGregor and Nurmagomedov? St-Pierre replied, “Well if I have the same… the motivation to do it, yeah I believe so. If I have the motivation to go through another training camp.” When asked if this was because of an age issue or not, St-Pierre said, “It’s not the fight guys, it’s… I don’t want to take two months of my life getting – I don’t want to waste two months of my life doing this. I just don’t want to put me through the stress, through the – grind of doing this again.” The lack of motivation is the main reason behind St-Pierre not choosing to accept the $100 million fantasy matchup.

Georges St-Pierre’s career in the is magnificent, to say the least. The Canadian has 26 wins and only two losses in his professional career. He created history in the UFC by successfully defending the middleweight title 9 times. His only two losses were against Matt Serra and Matt Hughes. These losses mattered little to the Canadian as he got his revenge on the two later in his career.
