After she claimed the 2012 Wimbledon Girl’s title, Bouchard was named WTA Newcomer of the year in 2013. Thereafter, she made her way up to the finals of the 2014 Wimbledon championship. And became the first-ever Canada-born Canadian player to reach the Grand Slam finals. Following that, she fought for a ticket to the finals of the 2014 Australian and French Open. In the podcast interview, she spoke about how she plans to play in the Open this year. What Is Bouchard Up to These Days

wanted to take part in the Palm Harbour Tennis Tournament and Billie Jean King Cup, but her shoulder hasn’t fully recovered. Therefore, in order to not put too much pressure on her recovering shoulder, the former world no.5 played a few exhibition matches against some of the American tennis stars, like Sofia Kenin and Alison Riske. Thus, taking small and careful steps to regain her lost connection with tennis.
