Detailing the experience in the latest episode of F1: Beyond the Grid, shares his feelings regarding the situation. Watch This Story: When asked if he will have to look for a seat somewhere else in 2019, Ocon shared his honest answer. He , “Yeah, that was always the plan. There were no surprises, Lance was supposed to replace me at the end.” “But we had two options in teams, not going to say which ones. But we had opportunities that we didn’t manage to put together for diverse political reasons, which I got pretty disappointed about. But failing into securing a seat, you know I did learn a lot.” Even after multiple offers, Ocon did not have a seat in 2019.
