The Mavericks slipped between the cup and the lip as they lost by nine to the Golden State Warriors in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. A score of 117-126 might not be embarrassing for the Mavericks, but they were leading the game by 19 points by halftime. But, he did get a little chirpy with a Warriors fan who himself was probably not happy with his team’s performance before the half. The were leading the 72-58 then. Doncic had just drained a three-pointer, and he started going back and forth with the supporter, while going back into the locker room. Luka Doncic and the Mavericks today

Luka Doncic was apparently sick before this game. Yet he came out flying. Scoring 42 points and having eight assists after little sleep is difficult, but was possible for someone like Doncic. He was by Jalen Brunson, who scored 31 points and five assists of his own. They scored 71 points and 12 assists for Dallas, which is absolutely stellar, but received little help from anyone except Reggie Bullock who posted 21 today. Dinwiddie scored just four points in 22 minutes while Kleber scored three in 33 minutes. They were down by 19 today but came back and outscored the Mavericks by nine, in the end. Warriors converted the vast majority of their shots from the rim (14 off 16). They were outscored by 32 points in the paint (62-30). Mavericks were also out rebounded 43-30.
