Larimer County deputy shoots man armed with knife after high-speed chase Man armed with knife approaches deputies, he refuses to stop and is shot by a deputy, the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office said. At a roundabout at Colorado 402 a pursuing deputy stopped the fleeing vehicle using a PIT maneuver, bumping it with a patrol vehicle, the release said.A man armed with a knife got out of the vehicle and approached deputies, disregarding orders to stop, the sheriff’s office said. A deputy shot the man and he was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. No deputies were injured. Read more:
