Rumours that he turned down a role in The Hobbit to work on Nintendo Life are, to the best of our knowledge, completely and utterly unfounded. Comments ) Are you guys attending aswell? Ahh nvm, It's already clear Nintendo, this is the time to at least tease Zelda for Wii U. We sure are: I'm really looking forward to trying Super Mario 3D World and Bayonetta 2, because out of all those games, those are the two I'm unsure about. I mean, a 3D Mario could and should be game of the generation stuff, but so far all the videos make it look... well, a bit more like the NSMB series. I've said before I totally understand why they'd do it if that's the case as they need a system seller and this WILL sell Wii Us, but I just don't know if it will be up there alongside Mario 64 and Galaxy for me. Definately want to play sonic lost world, super mario 3D world and the legend of zelda the wind waker HD Shame i heard about this so late or i would have got tickets. Looking forward to seeing some reveals and new stuff. Well I would have liked to have been one of those people but I had no clue this was happening until I read this article. To be fair, I actually think I might have been invited to this but I just deleted the email. I first learnt about Nintendo Life at last year's expo, so i'm happy to say that i'll be there again this year to check out the Wii U games and the Nintendo Life Area. I hope they bring Mario Kart 8. Multiplayer Nintendo Land last year was great fun with others. This is a nice line-up, first event since E3 that provides so many games for the Wii U. Come on, Nintendo, you can learn how to marketize your games, use your regionals youtube account and make some videos of the event.
That would be a start. - Have you seen the SM3DW from PAX that is about half single player? Single player it looks a lot like Galaxy. They probably should have unveiled it as single player w/ a bunch of footage and then said "and one more thing", and then showed off the multiplayer. I bet it would have received a much better reaction that way. Of course marketing the Wii U has always been abysmal. Im glad to see Bayonetta 2. The lineup for 2013 has got enough in it, so MK8 in early 2014 could start to use some help. Been too quiet on the X front. About Bayonetta, I'm 101% sure, but frankly,... I was hoping for a new Galaxy. Those games were very original, with very refined gameplay mechanics that never failed to amaze, and looked stunning on Wii already. I can't wait for them to make a full HD Mario Omniverse or something. But we're back at '-Land'. Still gonna get it and love it probably, and the cat suits do look awesome, but not that -what's the word- 'hyped'. Looking forward to it, See you all there. The director of the second galaxy game believes SM3DW is even better than the Galaxy games.... The man is absolute genius so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt on it. AWWW YEAHH!!! Go Nintendo!! Its time to go Super Saiyan! Do you have video of this half of single player? I need links i have to see it.. I always maintained the game would play a lot closer to Galaxy because of the camera in Singleplayer mode is completely custom. - mea culpa, my mistake. I saw this trailer listed on Youtube as a Gamescom "exclusive" and didn't realize it was the same trailer as E3, silly me. On a brighter note - I still think they've put enough work on the single player to make it work as a single player game. I mean, if all 4 character control differently you could play it 4 times article quote: What’s the single-player experience like by comparison? Mr. Hayashida: Yes, we spent a lot of time thinking about the single-player experience in this game, particularly when you’re using the GamePad while playing it, which is my personal choice as well. You can use the touch screen on the GamePad to interact with hidden coins and blocks and reveal them. Or you can activate the gyro camera controls on the touch screen, which you can use to look around in the game, much like you would look around in Super Mario 64 or Super Mario Sunshine with the camera controls in that game. I feel like we’ve gotten to the point where it’s feeling really good. And looking around in the 3D world is very important not just for navigation but also for being able to explore and to enjoy the fun of finding things that were hidden. Important note - I've played SMG, SMG2, SM64 and Sunshine but NOT SM3DL, I know Nintendo tends to "pay tribute" moving game levels and design between handheld and home systems, but I'm now excited for this 1 as a single player game. THATS A GREAT LINEUP! iv'e got my sunday 11am - 7pm ticket this is a good lineup but where is mario kart 8, Wii Party U, professor layton and the azran legacy that was playable at gamescom 2013? Great interview. I'm still surprised how many people are prejudging this game as "Man, its not galaxy 3" This director has made multiple smash hit 3D Mario games(Assisted on Mario 64, Directed Galaxy 1/2, 3D Land), if he tells us its all the grand culmination of all the 3D Mario games, he more than deserves the benefit of the doubt. All 4 of those games I listed scored above 9's on most reviews. When he ships a game its probably going to be top notch, at least he deserves the benefit of the doubt anyways. looks like lots of people were judging the multiplayer camera as being the only way of playing... So I think you are right if they introduced the singleplayer game first and then did the "oh btw" at the very end for the multiplayer it might have struck a strong chord with gamers. we will see, i think its going to be a system seller. its my most anticipated title of the year. I thought Miyamoto said he's done with Galaxy? Leave A Comment Hold on there, you need to to post a comment...
