More Miiverse Favourites From Art Academy: SketchPad - Feature Nintendo Life Mario, Link, Pikmin and lots of lovely art by Share: Back in August Nintendo released on the Wii U eShop, a budget-priced drawing tool that utilises the GamePad touch screen and allows full colour image posts to Miiverse. For artistically minded Wii U owners it's certainly a terrific option that can deliver impressive results; not long after its release we picked some of the resulting Miiverse posts as our . The community now has over 105,000 active participants, more than trebling the numbers of a week after launch. More importantly it's still active, with new posts appearing with every passing minute. With that in mind, and with in particular clearly capturing some imaginations, we thought we'd browse through the most popular posts of recent days to hunt out more exceptional examples to share. Below — in no particular order — are ten drawings that stood out, and there are many, many more that are also fantastic. Not all are game related, but we think are pleasing on the eye; click on the usernames to visit and 'Yeah' the original posts. So those are some that we've appreciated so far — let us know what you think and post your own masterpieces or discoveries in the comments below. The (impressive) one by Tokoya3 is from the "Non Non Biyori" anime currently airing in Japan (and Crunchyroll here: ) Very nice! wow the picture of a pikmin swimming has Seaman from the dreamcast in the frame. I envy those who can draw so well...

I had to do a double take when I saw the Reggie fish in "Holiday of Red Pikumin". Jerry? Good one. Is that actually Reggie's face on seaman? Lol Wish I had this kind of talent. That is just Amazing! Art Academy: Sketchpad is where I drew my pokemon profile pic! You can just use free apps on your computer or phone/tablet and they have more features. Thats why I didn't buy this app on Wii U, it should really be free. Is that a Reggie Seaman? Goron Link

I lack creativity, (and any real skill) but love drawing! Awesome paintings! Some of the art appearing on Art Academy and even Miiverse is just brilliant. The link to the Deku Link painting doesn't work.

Oh those are cool! I really like the "Wario & Waluigi: Dream Won't Come True" one! Those drawings are awesome to look at! There are some talented people out there. definetly adding that community to my favs. This is my favourite art academy work. It's fanart of the art from Link's Awakening: So awesome! awesome drawings but could you please link to the miiverse pages they come from so I can give yeahs to the artist/s? Thanks!
