Editorial We recommend Ginny Brown Daniel for House District 150 This diverse area that includes Spring , Klein , Tomball and parts of The Woodlands deserves... because she delivered the red meat Republican primary voters wanted.While we don’t doubt that Swanson, 65, can cherry-pick Bible verses to support her agenda, we are hard-pressed to find an overarching message of love and mercy in her legislative accomplishments. The Democratic challenger, Ginny Brown Daniel, was a pastor in the district for 12 years, and the experience of leading a church informs her politics of inclusion. During the 2021 legislative session, Brown Daniel, 51, spoke out against bills that “harmed the diversity and the beauty of District 150.” But she said she felt she needed to do more, and to run for office. We’re glad she did, and we hope voters will send her to Austin. Read more:
