Over 30 hours on the latest 3ds outing was more then enough. Meh. I already have World Tour and it's keeping me entertained. One thing I will give this game a point for is exploration, something that WT kind of didn't have. I know there are more good GBA games to come for VC so I'll just skip this and buy the next I think. Plus World Tour is getting me all the golf I want at the moment This game is phenomenal. The lag on a modern flatscreen tv might be unbearable though. I will be downloading this game. Would you recommend this version of mario golf or the N64 version? I've never played either. Love this game! Already have it for the GBA The lag on a modern flatscreen tv..?
How 'modern' is your tv?
Mine is 3 years old, runs at 240hz and the passthrough that games have makes the response time better than the original GBA's dedicated screen.
Minish Cap, Metroid Fusion and Battle Network are crisper than ever. I;m not a fan of golfing but i picked this one up on a sale as I had fun with the N64 game and it uses the engine of goldensun (and it shows) and it turns out to be a remarkable fun and playable golf game. i prefer the GBA version personally. this is what I'm referring to The lag on modern flat panels can make on-screen display response on twitch-type games, such as Mario Golf or Guitar Hero delayed. Believe it or not a CRT works best as there is no video processing being done on the image, and therefore, no lag. I think this is the best of the Mario Golf games in the series. The RPG elements really helped to flesh out what is usually standard golf fare into something with a little more meat. Leave A Comment Hold on there, you need to to post a comment...
