Both of them are billionaires but have gone in different directions as they grew old. Jones bought the Cowboys in 1989, and his focus is on them. However, in 2018, that wasn’t the case. Donald Trump publicly agreed to one of the decisions taken by the Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. The billionaire owner of the Cowboys had made it clear to his players that all of them will stand when the national anthem is being played. This is what the league should do!” It was during the time when player protests in the league were quite high. Trump’s support for Jerry Jones was very surprising. Earlier, the owner claimed that he didn’t like the involvement of Donald Trump with the things that were happening in the NFL. Talking about Trump, Jones had said, “His interest in what we’re doing is problematic, from my chair, and I would say in general the owners’ chair. It’s unprecedented if you really think about it.
