'Why would you bury a car? That's the thing I can't figure out, it sounds devious.' So, the mystery continues and so does the digging. Police said they’ll continue investigating through the weekend. : Atherton PD says the car in the backyard has been excavated.It’s a Mercedes Benz.About 4-5 feet deep in the ground.Bags of concrete were found throughout the car.
