Hasim Rahman Jr Exposes Confidential Information From Jake Paul s Camp

Moreover, after their confrontation two years ago in a sparring session, the pair already have a lot of bad blood between them and will be looking to settle their differences in the ring. In an interview with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, the boxer stated that he was trying to only humble Paul during the session and claimed that ‘The Problem Child’ disrespected the sanctity of the sport. “I was just trying to humble him a little bit and tell him, I’m in here handicapped a bit. I knew he was going to chop it up the way he did. That’s what you see where I was upset in the video. Like, ‘No, you being disrespectful now.’” He further continued, “It had nothing to do with the actual boxing, the sparring session. It was just his disrespect for the sport and for what we were doing. I came to give you a look.” Moreover, he then went on and revealed that he had no intention of beating Paul and that the YouTuber’s coaches had asked Rahman Jr. not to knock him out. “I didn’t come to beat you up, or to see if you were even on my level, or you were ready for this level. I was actually asked by your coaches not to knock you out,” Rahman Jr. added. It was during the pandemic and it was $100 a round. It was easy work sparring for me. The camp was trying to keep him in a protected bubble rather than making him compete without any interference. Moreover, this might even affect Paul during the fight, with Rahman having a mental advantage over him.
