It was considered a blockbuster move even though things went sour between Simmons and the 76ers. Adding Simmons to the superstar duo of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving looked great on paper. Fans and experts expected Ben Simmons to hit the ground running. They expected the Australian to bring in the much-required defensive and physical ability to the team. However, things didn’t go as planned as he missed the whole season through injury. As per recent reports, the Nets are in the market for Bam Adebayo. This trade seems to make sense for the Nets as Adebayo brings physicality and defense to the table which the Nets have arguably lacked.
