Recently, undefeated boxer Miracle Ameaze suffered the dire consequences of the game. Fans react to the passing of Miracle Ameaze

The undefeated fighter defeated Friday Obasi via a first-round knockout on July 1, 2022. However, his jubilant victory couldn’t last long. During a sparring session, Ameaze was knocked down not once but twice, and he never recovered from it. The young fighter passed away in his gym. View this post on Instagram The boxing world is at a standstill after this tragic incident. Fans showered their condolences and support for the family as they said, “Rest in power your brother. So sad man” as well as “Wow sad my deepest condolences to his Family.” While others questioned the circumstances around his death. They said, “After sparring ?! What kind of sparring was that?!” Furthermore, they also questioned why the coach let him continue, “What were his coaches thinking? A young star such as that. He should’ve been done after the first knockdown.” Additionally, fans suggested the idea that sparring sessions should only be a means to develop strategies for an upcoming fight and not to knock out their opponents in the ring.

Another recent tragedy in South African boxing

Unfortunately, Ameaze’s death isn’t the only tragic incident in recent history as another fighter, Simiso Buthelezi suffered a brain injury on June 5, 2022. In his fight against Mntungwa, Buthelezi was dropped at the ropes with a hard jab.
