And the wait is finally over as MrBeast has reached the milestone on 29 July! It’s been a long journey for the Carolina born, from a nobody with two-digit subscribers to becoming one of the biggest YouTube presence right now. He had made extravagant items, and if that’s not enough, the American content creator has even given away huge sums of money or expensive items like a Lamborghini car. But his alone crossed the 100 million mark, making him only the second individual to do so. Undoubtedly, it’s the grandest of milestones in Jimmy’s career right now.

MrBeast shares his 27 to 100M journey

There were only four YouTube channels with over 100 million subscribers, and PewDiePie was the only individual creator on that list. However, Donaldson has joined that elite list, becoming the second individual creator to reach a hundred. MrBeast came into the spotlight in 2017, but he has been on the platform even before that. Jimmy started his journey in 2012 with ‘Minecraft let’s play’ videos and back then his channel was called MrBeast6000. The 24-year-old shared that in July 2012, he had around 27 subscribers. Jimmy revealed around eight years ago, that reaching a thousand subscribers was like a huge event for him. He saw many ups and downs on this journey and it has rewarded him as he is now among the richest YouTubers. However, not every day was like now in the past. MrBeast said after graduation that he was making $100 from YouTube and had to choose if he wanted to continue or get a proper job.
