The final 24 hours feature plenty of goodies, a number of which are Nintendo classics. This time around we have nearly 12 hours of classic Mario and Zelda gaming; this segment will include , , / Master Quest, and . I'd assume it's for the novelty of seeing one's favorite games being played with unnatural precision. I'm with you, though, I'd rather just play the games. Danrenfroe2016 try watching a few hours you learn things you never knew about your favorite/unknown games. see them get destroyed, even the hard games we all think are hard are made to to look easy. i'll have to catch this on vod later gotta sleep 02:12 -_- amen... that is the part that scares me, the part about watch a few hours, 10 minute video game thing on YouTube about Super Mario maker and some of those crazy level yes its neat, but I couldn't stand it that long. Well, I'd recommend giving the event it a go. If it were just gameplay footage, then the whole thing would largely be pointless and even less involving that a Mario Maker 'Don't Touch Anything' level. However, the games are narrated by a group of the best (and often most knowledgeable) players in the world, so there's a lot of interesting stuff to learn about the, as well as the spectacle of seeing them get ripped apart. There are often a number of players doing simultaneous runs too, turning the game into a race, which shares the attraction of... well, nearly any sport really. I tuned in cautiously near the beginning, but have really, really warmed to the event since. There's a fantastic atmosphere, the events are varied and interesting, the players are generally really sweet as well as being devilish game monsters, and the whole thing is for charity. It's a celebration of games history (if you can celebrate something while tearing it apart), and a good way to do a sort of 'sightseeing tour' of some old favourites, without having to dust of the cartridges and play through them at mortal pace. You guys are forgetting an important fact regarding ADGQ: they are soliciting donations for Cancer research. lol. Love this quote: get together and talk about the game to American sports level nuance and depth.
