Two malnourished teen siblings in Texas escaped from handcuffs at their home this week when one of them found the key in his mother’s purse and hid it in his mouth until it was safe to flee, according to court records. The teen siblings fled from their home where they had been abused for months They were forced to drink bleach beaten with curtain rods and burned court documents said Teenage twins allegedly escaped abusive conditions at this home in Cypress, Texas.“The twin siblings were covered with bruises, were barefoot, and were partially clothed. The siblings stated that they were starving,” the court records said.The records said that there is probable cause for Duncan to be charged with aggravated assault and aggravated assault on a family member with a previous conviction. Louisiana State Police said the couple was detained during a traffic stop in the Baton Rouge area Tuesday afternoon and arrested on fugitive charges out of Harris County.The condition of the children who were taken to Louisiana was unclear Friday. Child welfare officials in Louisiana declined comment. Child welfare authorities in Texas did not respond to a request for comment.
