Troll and I To Bring Mythical Adventures To Switch In Spring Nintendo Life No we're not trolling you! by Share: The list of upcoming games for Nintendo Switch continues to grow as we learned today that will be bringing havoc to Nintendo's new wonder console this Spring. The game has been developed by UK based Spiral House and will be published by Maximum Games. In Troll and I, players will be tasked with strategically utilising Troll and Otto's unique strengths to overcome the many enemies they will face in the Scandinavian backcountry – whether they be the human hunters pursuing Troll for their own greedy ends or mythical orcs known as 'Ahky' unleashed from the depths of the earth. Solo players can seamlessly switch between Otto and Troll in-game, using Troll's massive size and strength to throw boulders at enemies or Otto's speed and resourcefulness to stealthily take out a lone hunter without raising an alarm. Troll and I also supports split-screen gameplay for couch co-op, as two heads, and pairs of hands, are always better than one. on Throughout the game, players will encounter various natural resources when playing as Otto, and should make use of Otto's keen senses and attunement to nature to track down wildlife, which can be hunted and used to heal him during battle. Otto will exploit the materials of the forest to fashion spears and other weapons that will prove crucial to the duo's survival. Otto's connection to his surroundings and the environment around him plays a key role in the player successfully navigating treacherous situations. The game will be fully playable at home or on the go using the Joy-Con controllers for both solo and split-screen co-op gameplay, allowing players to continue Troll and Otto's adventure wherever they are. It looks a bit rough around the edges but could still be a lot of fun. And the troll is definitely ugly. Looks interesting. Even moreso if it proves to be an open world (or at least pseudo-open but with maps of Dishonored scale), too. It's definitely rough, but I like the concept of switching characters or tackling it in couch co-op. Looking forward to it. The graphics looks like something from the Wii era.
Such games make me want to get a PS4 Pro right now. Not trying to hurt the devs's feelings but by god is this thing is ugly. Troll is gonna give me nightmares tonight. Hoping the graphics looks better at release. Otherwise I think it seems really cool. Might look way better in person. I can't exactly watch HD videos at work :/ If it gets a physical release I'd buy it, otherwise I'll probably pass Definitely will keep on eye on this. Okay, so, my second look at the vid/game? Not interested. But I'm glad to see another upcoming game joining the Switch party. You'll be pleased to know it's coming to PS4 Pro too then. It's possible this was even the PS4 version they were showing. It certainly wasn't the Switch version anyway. It's not the prettiest game by any stretch of the means, but I like the concept. I'll keep an eye out. Hopefully it plays well. Looks promising. Will it be out in North America? Would love that couch co-op Has a Tomb Raider meets Brothers vibe If only he would've snapped his fingers it would have been perfect. I didn't knew about this game but it looks interesting. Graphics may not be the most polished but gameplay seems fun. Otto! Usually I gloss over Maximum Games releases... they have a pretty big portfolio of releases now, but they're all B-grade games. Not to say a game has to be AAA to be worth playing of course. I still try to keep tabs on their games, and this one looks ok. I'll wait for reviews, but just being on Switch makes it instantly 3X more appealing, just due to the hybrid factor. If I remember correctly, trolls are supposed to be ugly... Funny you should say that, especially in light of the fact that the video shows off the PS4 version of the game...
