Here are three tips related to the Control key in Chrome that you probably didn't know existed. They'll boost your productivity for sure! The Control key on your PC keyboard is part of quite a few handy shortcuts. Let’s see how this key can improve your workflow on Chrome. 1. Select multiple tabs by Control-clicking them. Don’t let go of the Control key till you have moved the tabs. 2. You know that you can use Control + D to bookmark a web page, right? How about this next one? You can use Control + Shift + D to bookmark all open tabs at once. Alternatively, you can right-click on any tab and select Bookmark All Tabs… from the context menu. Both these actions put the currently open pages in a separate folder in your Bookmarks folder You can restore all those bookmarks together by selecting Open All Bookmarks from the context menu of their parent folder. 3. Hit Control + Shift + Del to bring up the Clear browsing data dialog that you can see in the screenshot above. This shortcut saves you a couple of steps: opening browser history via the Chrome menu or Control + Y and then clicking on the Clear browsing data… button there. Note: If you’re using Chrome on a Mac, use the command key instead of the Control key for all these shortcuts. These are not the only Control key shortcuts that you can take advantage of.
