Dragon Ball FighterZ Switch Arrives In Japan On 27th September With Some New Additions Nintendo Life

Simplified inputs with 'Extreme Type' by Share: While held the lion's share of last week's Nintendo Direct at E3 2018, the is also Switch bound got fighting game fans more than a little excited. The publisher has confirmed the port will arrive in Japan on 27th September, bringing with it some new additions for Switch owners. 'Extreme Type' is a new mode that will make inputting the combos for powerful moves far easier (which should make the game a lot more attractive to relative newcomers). The Japan version will also offer early access to Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta, as well as packing in a copy of Dragon Ball Z: Super Butouden (which hit the Super Famicom in 1993). That September release date does cast some considerable doubt on DBF making the 'summer 2018' release date teased at E3, although we're hoping it does make its way to western Switches by the end of 2018. on Will you be picking up Dragon Ball FighterZ on Switch when it eventually arrives in the West? If not, I'll be fearing the release of a complete edition in the near future, as it always happens with fighting games. Most of those DBZ Super Famicom games were terrible, but Super Butouden should be a fun throwback if it makes it overseas. Team Vegeta/Goku Black/Zamasu ftw! Can't wait! Yes, I've been hoping for this game to be release on the Switch and it's finally happening!
Day one purchase for sure Oh boy I waited on getting this on other platforms and man am I glad! Can’t wait to sink some hours into this. nope. I'm still wondering why people keep waiting for GOTY editions, with a single player game that makes sense but with multiplayer it's waiting till the online dies... Looking forward to this one! Frieza/Lazuli/SSGSS Vegeta for me all the way! No need to get the DLC, none of the characters on the leaked list interest me ^^ Reminds me that I gotta install a d-pad mod on my Joy-con first though runs off. Well, in my case it's because I don't usually play online. I know that's how fighting games are best enjoyed by people, but I don't buy games day one, I wait until their price drops, and by then people is already too skillful to me. Let's be honest: every time I've played online games since day one people is already too good. So for me these games are single-player, occasionally two-player if I have guests that are interested in video games -which almost never occurs-, and after all the waiting it's becoming clear that an ultimate edition will come. That's what happens with all fighting games and I don't expect Dragon Ball FighterZ to be different. Considering all this, I prefer a full package that is much cheaper than vanilla + DLC one by one. Not sure why Namco wouldn't be able to released this game worldwide the same date as the Japanese one considering the game already was English translated. Also they had to choose the worst version of those classic Dragon Ball Z games, why not some of the better DBZ games like Dragon Ball Z: Hyper Dimension or Legend of the Saiyans? I would had been okay with either one or both but those Super Butoden games and any games like them are terrible. Those split screen combat are not fun to utilize. Ahh, Hyper Dimension! That game brings back some good memories. Probably the best of the Super Famicom bunch. This one takes me back...
I will rebuy at full price on Switch if the season pass is included. Otherwise, I'll wait for ~$20 I held off buying FighterZ on PC and PS4 because I had a hunch that it was coming to Switch. Was hoping it would release a bit quicker than that. I hope we get that pack-in too... Why, why, why, why, why, why, why was this trailer not in the E3 Direct?!? Hope they keep the simplified input people in a separate matchup system So they'll charge for DLC... Great, easy pass. The game has already been localized, I can't think of a reason why they would need to wait for a western release. But this game doesn't interest me anyway. I already wasted money on Xenoverse 2. I just don't get into Dragon Ball fighting games anymore. I haven't since Budakai on Gamecube which was the last one I enjoyed, back when I was in middle school. LOL, same here... also, I didn't enjoyed the gameplay all that much. It's too simplistic. But the presentation is gorgeous. But I'll pass mainly because of those DLC traps.
