GoodReader Gets Long-Awaited iOS 7 Update Including New Audio Player

A long-awaited iOS 7 update of the GoodReader PDF reader was recently released with a revamped user interface, faster PDF rendering, a new auto player, several improvements for managing documents, and support for iWork 2013 files. A long-awaited iOS 7 update of the popular PDF reader, GoodReader [No Longer Available], was recently released with a revamped user interface, faster PDF rendering, a new auto player, several improvements for managing documents, and support for iWork 2013 files. Though the app icon for GoodReader is the same, the UI now sports a clean and more modern makeover. The right, bottom, and pop-up menus are thinner, allowing for more space to read and annotate documents. Tapping with three fingers anywhere on a document shows and hide menus. The new search feature now allows users to locate documents inside selected folders, subfolders, or the entire database. Files can now be starred and tagged in seven different colors, and documents can be searched by assigned attributes. And users can select and flatten multiple files for emailing without having to manually open them. GoodReader enables users to import and sync documents from a variety of servers including Dropbox, SkyDrive, Box, and SugarSync, and it supports an equally wide range of files including Word, HTML and Safari web archives, and high resolution images. The latest update also adds support for Apple's latest iOS 7 iWork files. Images now can be copied from other applications and imported as standalone files in GoodReader. The update also allows for opening standalone audio and video files linked from parent HTML files inside of GoodReader, and an entirely new audio player for playing downloaded audio files operates in the background while you read documents.
