I love this guy so much. What a sweet guy. I'd love to meet him one day It's great when the actors (even voice actors) appreciate the franchise they represent. He's so good at it and appreciates what he has and tries to pass on the joy. So great. Anyone know if he'll voice Mario in the upcoming Illumination movie? It might be a PR problem if he doesn't. If he does, I hope the role is great for him and gives him a little more to do. This lad
is amazing He's such a fun, cheerful guy. The perfect fellow to voice Mario. I really hope to meet him one day. Here's me (and you get to see my actual face) with this fella in Barcelona back in 2016. Amazing guy full of character The weird thing is that the video game character Mario could have been done on a synthesizer for all I know...not taking anything away from the guy, but he really doesn't say anything except a word or two....over and over.... When I hear Mario, I think Captain Lou Albano. Again, not being sarcastic. Just what it is.. Does he really do new recordings for each release? I just assumed Nintendo had an archive of the dozen or so phrases Mario says in every game. Dang. That's awesome! This guy seems so nice IRL, and even the poeple on this site can testify to that! This man is a treasure. He signed my Mario 64 cartridge. I hope I am lucky enough to meet this guy one day, he seems to be super easy going like me Great guy for a great character. Thanks for giving Mario his 3D voice, Charles. Wants to do it until he's 147 huh? Man... whoever voices Mario next will have some very big shoes to fill. I don't envy them, whoever they will be... Always a joy to watch him. He's like Mario IRL. Nintendo really found a winner of an ambassador when they found him! You are a brave, brave soul.... His net worth is 10 million dollars...so I'm guessing they make him record most everything fresh. I like this Charles. He's so authentic. The world need more persons full of joy like him. I think he said once that he initially did Mario in a gruff voice, but here he sounds like the Mario we all know. I remember it to be the other actors that took the gruff plumber from brooklyn approach.. And that the contrast of him with those others was what got him hired... , Hmm, I never understood it that way. But maybe you are right.
