PSVR Air Combat Game Bow To Blood Last Captain Standing Is Flying Onto Switch
PSVR Air Combat Game Bow To Blood: Last Captain Standing Is Flying Onto Switch Nintendo Life Think Hunger Games, but in planes by Share: on Tribetoy has revealed that its action-strategy airship adventure is heading to Nintendo Switch this April. The game is a single-player action-strategy roguelike in which players must oversee a flying airship in a multi-stage competition being broadcast as a deadly reality TV show. You'll have to manage your ragtag crew to keep your vessel afloat, fend off incoming attackers, gather resources, and search for treasure, and - in a The Hunger Games-style twist, you'll even need to forge temporary alliances to work against the biggest threats in the game. Of course, only one captain can be victorious, so these friendships won't last for long. The original Bow to Blood launched as a PlayStation VR exclusive last August; our friends over at described it as "a solid experience that builds upon the foundations" of other VR titles. This newly-made multiplatform release is said to build upon that release with "a slew of new content", enhancing the game with an all-new Hard Difficulty setting, more enemy ships, and improved art. Tribetoy Co-Founder and Director of Design, Matthew Hoesterey, has said the following in a press release today: “Bow to Blood is truly unlike anything out there, with its mix of naval combat, airship management, and diplomacy. We’re thrilled that a whole new audience will get to discover it in this multiplatform release this April.” Have you played this one on PlayStation? Do you like the look of what you see? Share: About Ryan can list the first 151 Pokémon all in order off by heart – a feat he calls his ‘party trick’ despite being such an introvert that he’d never be found anywhere near a party. He’d much rather just have a night in with Mario Kart and a pizza, and we can’t say we blame him. Comments ) Uh I really didn't know this one, looks sweet for my taste. Will be keeping an eye on it! Interested! What's it like? This looks pretty cool. I look forward to seeing more about this. This looks like a more cartoony version of a game on ps4/pc called Guns of icarus. your the captain of an airship in a fantasy reality show. You command your crew while flying your ship, repelling boarders with your firearm and managing your resources. There is also a diplomatic element to the gameplay. You'll need to forge alliances or plot betrayals to keep your rank off an avoid getting voted off the season by the other captains. Happy you are interested! Unlike Guns of Icarus this is a single player experience focused around commanding your crew, flying your ship, and facing off against AI challengers. Could be cool, but there's too little to go by in the trailer. It looks like it reviewed fairly well for the PSVR version, but it'll be interesting to see how well they've transitioned the game out of VR. Just like mobile-to-console, not many VR games make a smooth transition to traditional gaming. Hi! We designed the game from the ground up to play well on a screen so unlike many VR titles it was always part of our plan. We also did a lot to ensure the game plays well on the switch in particular. We not only changed the controls and UI, but also the speed of the ship, how projectiles fly, targeting, enemy AIs, everything was reimagined. On top of that we added a ton of new content so this game is a massive upgrade from the original PSVR version. We hope you keep an eye on it! Oh iseee.., good to know.., and kind of a bummer for me lol. i dig the multiplayer aspect of guns of icarus, even if finding matches can be difficult without joining a community of sorts. Interesting concept and I like the artstyle. I have no real interest in PS VR so Im glad were seeing games like this not be tied to that peripheral. Hey Dogtoy! It's pretty neat to see you respond in the comments. Just want to say that this concept looks very compelling. I will definitely keep an eye out when it releases on the switch. difference is this is single player roguelike-ish game rather than a team multiplayer thing. Thanks Dogtoy. I'm impressed and delighted you replied to our comments. Even though I haven't played the game you guys now already rock! Kudos! Thank you! Annnnnd added to wishlist!
