Level-5's Snack World Video Game Appears To Be Getting Localised Nintendo Life Snack attack by Share: It looks like Level-5's video game and television series is still receiving a western release in the near future, with the help of the localisation company 3Beep. The company's reveals the following information: 3Beep is working with Level-5 to create the English language versions of the television series and video game. The Snack World television series ran for 50 episodes from April 2017 to April 2018. The Snack World: Trejarers video game arrived in August 2017 and an enhanced version - known as - was ported across to the Switch in April 2018. Given the news about two Professor Layton titles being localised for the Nintendo Switch, we're hoping this localisation is also for the Switch version of the game, rather than the original 3DS release. Wish Level-5's games didn't always take so long to get localised. I have the Japanese version of this- good game. Nothing groundbreaking but a nice art style and laid back story. Hopefully it gets localised My thoughts. I nearly forgot about this game, it's taken ages to get localised, but if it ever comes, I'll likely get it. If it's half as good as Fantasy Life, I know I'll love it. I would love to have this game on the 3ds! Fantasy Life 2 for Switch, please. Awesome been wanting to play this so much that i have almost imported the japanese version several times. Big fan of Level 5 studios and their games. Been waiting on this one. Cancelled my preorder of My Time at Portia as my wife loves Fantasy Life Omg yes yes yes! Fantasy Life-esque game on switch! I'm down to boogie with this. Looks delightful. Yes!!!!! I have been hoping that this game would be localised. Now we wait , hopefully not too long Finally! I've been wanting to play this game for years now! THIS!!! Hopefully it is the Switch version, or both. I really like both the game and, specially, the show so it’s great that people in the West will finally have a chance to enjoy both... but... The localization might prove to be very challenging... This show plays a lot with words and other things that only make sense in Japanese. I wonder how they plan to translate it to English without losing the spark. Also I’m very curious about how they’re going to handle all the situations and scenes that might be considered “politically incorrect” in the US... The show might end up losing what makes it fun in the first place. I really hope they give it the necessary care and do a good job with the localization. Yep, I'd say any baddie deserves being transported to barren deserts. More Level-5 is always a good thing. Here hoping they localise the 3DS version too, even if I know they probably won't I've been waiting 3000 years for this. I hope it comes to fruition especially since the west will likely never get the fantasy life smart phone game Yesssss this is one to keep an eye on for sure.
